Outreach Coordinator for Shepherd Center's SHARE Military Initiative
Alexandria Carvalho serves as the Outreach Coordinator for Shepherd Center’s SHARE Military Initiative where she provides Traumatic Brain Injury support and education to service members, veterans, and first responders. She is also responsible for driving patient accrual, managing relationships with referring facilities and organizations, and presenting at local, regional, and national summits, symposiums, and expos.
She is also a Marine in the Marine Corps Reserves with 17 years of service in logistics and as a diesel mechanic. Alexandria previously served as the District Injured Support Coordinator with the Marine Corps’ Wounded Warrior Regiment, assisting wounded Marines and Navy personnel. She has a background in veterans non-profit work and holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and minor in Psychology from Cleveland State University. Alexandria continues her service with Recruiting Station Atlanta in the Marine Corps Reserves.
